Job Summary/Description:
This position will fulfill a variety of multimedia functions which include shooting and editing video, writing, and conceptualizing creative projects for commercial clients, station promotions and other station projects. The position requires effective script writing skills, and a good overall knowledge of video production with client satisfaction in mind. You must be a self-motivator, highly organized and willing to juggle multiple projects at times with short deadlines. Ability to complete projects with little supervision and practice good editorial judgment. Additionally, this position is accountable for directing a variety of highly rated news programs. Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Produce direct, write, shoot, and edit advertiser commercials, promotions, public service announcements, corporate videos, and program specials.

Job Summary/Description:
This position will fulfill a variety of multimedia functions which include shooting and editing video, writing, and conceptualizing creative projects for commercial clients, station promotions and other station projects. The position requires effective script writing skills, and a good overall knowledge of video production with client satisfaction in mind. You must be a self-motivator, highly organized and willing to juggle multiple projects at times with short deadlines. Ability to complete projects with little supervision and practice good editorial judgment. Additionally, this position is accountable for directing a variety of highly rated news programs. Attention to detail and time management are necessary. Candidate must have comprehensive computer experience and ability to multitask under pressure. Ideal candidate should be familiar with broadcast equipment, field/studio camera’s, switchers, Ross Automation and Adobe Products. Must be willing to work a varied schedule to support a broadcast environment which includes nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Candidate should be technically inclined with sharp computer skills. Training provided. Broadcast experience preferred, but not required.
Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Produce direct, write, shoot, and edit advertiser commercials, promotions, public service announcements, corporate videos, and program specials.
• Formulate creative concepts
• Write scripts for commercials, promotions, short & long form programming
• Shoot and record in-field or studio footage
• Make necessary graphics/Logos
• Edit utilizing non-linear editing equipment, Adobe Suite
• Responsible for proper handling of all paperwork associated with productions
• Trouble shoot and problem solving while out on location and coordinating projects between multiple departments.
• Directing and switching the station newscasts, local programs and remotes.
• Utilize Ross Overdrive automation and ENPS Newsroom system and all peripheral equipment: switcher, audio board, Xpresssion CG, Digital tape machines, studio lighting, floor direction, teleprompter, cameras, robotic cameras, and other associated equipment for production/newscast sessions.
• Adjust operation according to demands of changing news.
• Work effectively in live news production environment
• Work with news department in the preparations of newscasts.
• Work with other production crew to produce news broadcast.
• Able to perform in high stress, fast-paced environment
• Perform proper microphone and equipment checks
• Prep studio and props prior to airing/recording of newscasts or production shoots
• Record and edit daily topical and promotional material

Qualifications/Requirements:
