POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for communication and execution of WX Brands’ top programs and priorities to RDNC chain management and sales representatives
• Minimum four days in the field working in partnership with RNDC to grown and maintain display activity
• Build and maintain relationships with RNDC sales team, key buyers, and decision-makers in the Northern California chain market
• Represent WX Brands by participating in wine tastings and demos, tradeshows etc.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to CA Regional Manager on opportunities, best practices, challenges etc.
• Management and documentation of KPIs, performance vs. growth goals, and comps vs. competitive set
• Organization of WX market blitzes, sales competitions and WX sponsored RNDC team outings and meetings
• Occasional overnight travel and night/weekend availability when needed to support market work throughout Northern California

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Resides in Bay Area
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years distributor and/or supplier experience within the beverage alcohol industry.
• Management of chain merchandizing sales team strongly preferred
• Intermediate wine knowledge
• Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Effective problem-solving skill, solid communication skills, good judgement, and professional maturity
• Must be organized and efficient at completing administrative tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals. Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and be prepared to work with fire and hustle!
• Must have a seller’s mindset. Strong communication and negotiation skills and ability to close the deal
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Must be able to travel 50% + within region as well as maintain a home office
• Ability to sit in a car and travel for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able perform the physical task this position requires
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable automobile transportation.

The salary range for this role is: $80,000-$85,000 annually

This position also offers a monthly auto allowance and is eligible for an annual bonus based on sales performance.

• Bottling startup, including steam sterilization checks

• Maintain up-to-date inventory of all cellar equipment and supplies

• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a good work ethic

This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Digital & E-Commerce and will be responsible for helping to drive continued success in existing marketing programs and develop new initiatives in the direct-to-consumer channel.

The ideal candidate will have a self-starter attitude, is eager to roll up their sleeves to creatively support our e-commerce sales goals. They know the importance of tracking performance and making recommendation to optimize consumer engagement and conversions. They should have a wide array of marketing knowledge in e-Commerce, e-mail marketing, content creation, design, A/B testing, data management, analytics, digital advertising, and social media.

This role is based out of Novato, CA (Marin County) and has great flexibility between working from home and working in our Novato headquarters. We are open to candidates working in our office at least three times a week.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
E-MAIL MARKETING (60%)
• Strategize monthly email campaign calendars across brands
• Develop and implement email campaigns including design, copywriting, list segmentation, promotional offering setup, product setup, etc.
• Proofread and edit emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling
• Ensure emails follow wine industry regulations and content best practices
• Leverage email marketing tools to improve communications including personalization, product feeds, graphic treatments, and other advanced features
• Strategize and implement customer journey workflows
• Strategize and implement landing pages for emails and digital media campaigns
• Monitor, analyze, and manage campaign performance
• Identify, strategize, and implement lead generation opportunities to grow email databases both on and off websites
• Collaborate with DTC teams to maximize lead generation and data collection from tasting rooms
• Manage subscriber lists and implement segmentation strategies based on engagement, signup, purchase history, status, etc
• Develop reporting for email campaign performance, including sales revenue generated, and strategize optimization opportunities
• Lead monthly email campaign performance reviews and upcoming communication strategies with brand and DTC teams

SOCIAL MEDIA (30%)
• Manage the Baileyana portfolio of brands social presence on Instagram and Facebook including:
• Developing monthly content calendars and submitting to brand manager for review/approval and legal review
• Collaborating with brand manager and DTC team for content ideation and assets
• Gathering assets, cropping accordingly per placement, and writing copy for posts
• Scheduling posts
• Monitoring online communities, responding to/liking comments, managing inboxes, reposting relevant stories, etc
• Develop reporting to monitor and optimize content performance and growth strategies
• Setup ad campaigns in Facebook Ad Manager including brand awareness, lead-gen and conversion focused campaigns
• Optimize ads based on performance

e-COMMERCE (10%)
• Coordinate with our Brand Managers and winery partners to update content across our various websites including copy and image updates, blog posts, critic reviews, and information for new releases
• Monitor inventory and submit restock requests
• Manage online product catalog including setting up new wines with images, product details, etc
• Strategize, manage, and test promotion setup for both non-club subscribers and club members
• Review websites for e-commerce best practices and identify and strategize areas of opportunities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: BS or BA required in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 4 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or related area
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Acute attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure to maintain deadlines
• Self-starter attitude with insatiable curiosity
• Proficiency with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar ESP
• Keen eye for design and proficient with photo editing and graphic design tools such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Wine Direct eCommerce/Fulfillment, Shopify, or other e-commerce solutions
• Experience with Wordpress or similar website CMS
