And with our newest acquisition of Kickdynamic, an AI-driven content automation solution, we are now leaders in email marketing personalization.
How do we do this? It all starts with our people and a core belief that the talent we seek should be a culture add rather than a "culture fit," with our 5 core values in mind:

What would I do at Litmus?
As an Account Manager, you will build relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor, oversee their adoption of the Litmus platform, and to promote best practices to continually drive incremental value and return on their investment. Through these relationships and direct work with our customers you will be responsible for renewing customers and upselling to meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets.
On any given day you might:
• Work to strengthen relationships with key decision makers by connecting their business needs and goals with Litmus core product and services
• Host check-in meetings with customers to demonstrate new products and features, gauging opportunities for new revenue streams
• Use your subject matter expertise of the Litmus suite of products (and the broader email marketing ecosystem) to develop proposals and solutions that customers can't live without
• Maintain data integrity by accurately logging/updating daily activity, forecast, and opportunity information in Salesforce
• Collaborate with the Account Executive team to leverage our installed base, finding additional upsell opportunities across our enterprise customers
What is Litmus looking for in a candidate?
• Solid experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or subscription business, where you were responsible for managing customer relationships, renewals, and upsells
• Impeccable customer skills with a strong sense of empathy and integrity
• Organized, process-oriented, and analytical; an ability to identify and mitigate sales and product obstacles creatively and quickly
• Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding metrics and goals
• Hands-on CRM system experience facilitating pipeline and forecasting
• Entrepreneurial; excited by the prospect of building a loyal customer base and hitting quarterly and annual targets
• A bias for action; self-motivated and works well autonomously
• Nice-to-haves but not required:
• Experience selling into agencies and/or marketing departments of major brands, retailers, and technology companies
• Working knowledge of the email creative process and/or where Litmus fits into the marketing technology stack

How do we do this? It all starts with our people, and a core belief that the talent we seek should be a culture add rather than a culture fit. What would I do at Litmus? We're looking for a remote Database Reliability Engineer to join our SRE team and existing DBRE with automating, improving and managing our database infrastructure. A typical day for one of our DBREs might include:
Improving database reliability and performance. Working with developers to design solutions, and to identify potential issues, tradeoffs and risks in those proposed ideas. Implementing and monitoring observability metrics for our databases, creating and tuning alerts that center around SLOs and customer impact. Providing database expertise to our development teams, including assistance with query performance improvements and indexing recommendations. Working with the SRE team on automation of database infrastructure to help provide development teams with safe and secure self-service tooling options. Working with development teams to manage capacity planning for the Litmus database infrastructure. Implementing best practices around storage and archiving of database systems. Planning and execution of database software upgrades and possibly migrations. Participate in an on-call rotation for assisting developers with mitigating rare database-related production incidents. (Only 1 event in 2021!) What's it like to work in Site Reliability Engineering at Litmus? You'd work alongside a team of smart, curious people working on challenging problems. Within SRE we work closely with our developer teams which are populated with some amazing people. As a larger engineering organization and locally on our team, we are thoughtful about our work and our culture, and we work together to enable each other, and our engineering peers to do our best work. We are strong believers across Litmus on the right tool for the job. Our Ecosystem is broad, but centers around Ruby on Rails and .NET on the development side of the house, backed by database technologies like MySQL and Postgres running in AWS RDS and increasingly leveraging Aurora. Our SRE team primarily uses shell and Go, and drives automation with a toolchain that includes Terraform and Ansible. What can I expect in the first 60 days? In your first week, you will:
Receive your work computer, credentials, and anything else you might need to get started. Set up your new laptop the way you like it and help contribute any improvements you spot back to our onboarding documentation. Be introduced to another DBRE, who will help you get oriented and give you the context you need to succeed. Walk through the infrastructure as well as the various tools and software we use. Connect via regular stand-ups and retrospectives with the rest of SRE. Experience wins. You'll be set up with some smaller pieces of work to help you find your feet and grow your confidence in how our environment works. In your first month, you will:
Become familiar and comfortable with our processes. Meet the other development teams and work alongside other members of SRE on small projects that will enable you to make the necessary connections for the work. Learn about our long-term goals that help guide the day-to-day decisions about prioritization that we make individually. Deploy impactful improvements to our infrastructure. After your first couple of months, you will:
Start to feel more at home, with a good idea of what the most pressing work is, and where you can have the most impact for your peers inside and outside of SRE, as well as our customers. What are we looking for in a candidate? You are proficient at running PostgreSQL or MySQL in a production environment. This is always difficult to quantify, but put simply, you should have sufficient experience to have a healthy fear of making changes in production. You should be at least that confident in one of these platforms, and we'd be happy to introduce you to the other. You have experience with some infrastructure automation and configuration management tooling (such as:
Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Pulumi, Terraform, etc). Which one isn't terribly important. What we're looking for is an understanding of how automation works and why we do it. You have experience with at least one programming language, preferably Go, .NET or Ruby. We primarily use Go in SRE, but all of these are used at Litmus. In whatever automation or programming languages you know, you write clean thoughtful code. We all live in this space, and we share it with developers who don't spend all day in it. The better we are at this the more enjoyable it is for everyone. You have an appreciation for communicating and collaborating asynchronously. We work with developers in many different time zones, and often this requires patience and planning. You have good communication skills. As a distributed team we don't have a lot of meetings, and clear empathetic communication is important both within our team and in our daily work with development teams. You have the initiative and drive to manage your own time and workload. We work together to define our priorities as a team, but your day to day work and prioritization will be managed by you. You can identify what needs to be done and can seek out and work with others both inside and outside of your team to see that work through to completion. You have a security mindset with an urge to ensure the safety and security of the data of our customers and peers. Not sure if you meet all the requirements? Please apply! We know there is no job description that can measure a person's attitude, aptitude, or amplitude (the ability to turn it up a notch) and highly encourage you to apply. Our approach is shaped by a strong respect for each individual. This applies to every aspect of employment - from equitable wages, work-life balance, the freedom to be your whole self, to equal opportunities for growth and development at Litmus. We believe wholeheartedly the more inclusive we are, the better our work will be.
