Responsibilities
• Responsible for exceptional member service to include eye contact, welcome greeting, thanking the member by name, interest and willing to help, energy in body language and tone, friendly comments and ensuring members needs are fulfilled.
• Performs and documents over the counter transactions as identified in the teller habit pattern.
• Understands and determines acceptability of negotiable items and member identification.
• Identifies and addresses member questions and concerns to offer solutions.
• Listens for clues in order to identify cross-sale opportunities. Refers to appropriate staff members or opens product/service as appropriate.
• Assists with lobby management traffic to ensure members are being helped in a timely manner and feel welcome.
• Keep informed on up-to-date financial services and tools offered by Credit Union and educate members of new services and tools available to them.
• Maintains cash drawer and balances within guidelines established by Credit Union.
• Able to assist or lift 50-pound bags of coin. Stands for extended periods of time as required (up to four hours at a time).
• Performs any additional duties as required by the Management Team.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to coordinate a variety of assignments simultaneously and prioritize work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually to consistently meet and exceed set goals determined by the Credit Union.
• Proficient in counting cash, arithmetic, ten-key and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrates a high level of member service, sales, interpersonal communication skills, problem solving, motivation to accomplish set goals, organization and self-management skills.

Qualifications
• High School graduate or GED required.
• A minimum of 6 – 12 months prior Teller experience within a financial institution, retail sales, or a customer service position involving cash handling experience required.
• Bilingual skills are highly desired.
• Must have Saturday availability.

Additional Information:

Hours of Operations: Monday - Thursday 9 AM - 5:30 PM, Fridays 9 AM - 6 PM, Saturdays 9 AM - 1 PM

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour with no previous banking experience!

• Performs all Teller duties, including maintaining a cash drawer within Cash Drawer Balancing policy guidelines.
• Leads by example to reinforce sales and service culture by modeling effective behaviors to identify cross-sell opportunities and refers to appropriate lobby staff.
• Assists with resolving complex transactions, reviewing exceptions, identifying/offering solutions, locating outages, and balancing cash drawers/vault, and stays within established branch limits.
• Assists Branch Management team in managing lobby traffic. Coordinates the work schedule for the branch.
• Maintains Teller cash balancing spreadsheet and notifies Branch Management of outages outside of balancing guidelines in a timely manner.
• Provides input to Management pertaining to overall performance and developmental opportunities.
• Maintains/balances vault/coin machine according to branch cash limits/standards. Orders/verifies incoming/outgoing cash deliveries, and disburses/receives cash orders from staff.
• Demonstrates all member service standards and is an advocate of OnPoint culture.
• Performs any necessary audits or other procedures as outlined in the Branch Security Manual/Log.
• Ensures negotiable items, cash drawers, and work stations are properly secured at the end of each business day.
• Performs additional duties as required by Management for the overall operation of the branch.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Able to effectively perform a variety of job duties, tasks, and project deadlines simultaneously while supporting coworkers.
• Demonstrates leadership skills to support, lead and motivate others to perform their best.
• Proficient in counting cash, arithmetic, ten-key, and basic computer skills.
• Communication skills that are clear/effective in writing, in person and by phone.
• Demonstrates high level of member service, professionalism, sales, problem solving, organization, motivation to accomplish defined goals, and self-management skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time on a daily basis.
• Able to assist or lift 50-pound bags of coin on a daily basis.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Teller work experience.
• Experience working in a strong sales environment with defined sales and service goals preferred.
• Previous team leader/supervisor experience strongly recommended.
• Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of cash handling practices, products and services, operational policies and procedures, compliance, and reinforces defined individual/team goals.

This OnPoint branch will be located inside a Fred Meyer store. Our employees that work at an in-store location receive a 10% In-store Differential. • Performs both account and loan maintenance, assists with submitting necessary documentation to support transactions.
• Conduct outbound calling to members in order to further develop and/or retain lending and deposit relationships.
• Acts as liaison between members and off-site employee’s and departments to resolve issues, assist with courtesy signings, and completion of required forms and documents.
• Listens for clues and identifies cross-sell opportunities and refers to appropriate staff members as appropriate.
• Maintains cash drawer and balances within guidelines established by Credit Union.
• Performs any additional duties as required by the Branch Management Team for the overall operations of the branch.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with financial and lending operating systems.
• Ability to give exceptional member service and have strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Work effectively as part of a team and individually to consistently meet and exceed set goals determined by the Credit Union.

• Ability to be self-directed and work under limited direct supervision.
• High school diploma or GED required.
